We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Officer to join the NDCN Finance team. The Senior Finance Officer is a critical role that involves supervising less experienced staff, ensuring transactions and tasks are completed correctly and in accordance with university financial controls, and supporting the Senior Finance Manager with financial reporting and management.
Responsibilities- Supervise less experienced staff on a day‑to‑day basis and ensure all transactions and tasks are performed in line with financial controls.
- Assist the Senior Finance Manager with the preparation of financial reports and analysis for key stakeholders within the department.
- Investigate complex queries that arise and process regular complex recharges in a timely manner.
- Support month‑end tasks to provide the department with timely, high‑quality financial information.
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent service to staff, colleagues and external organisations.
