Quantitative Researcher | Equity Mid/High Frequency Trading
We're partnering with a highly innovative hedge fund in Oxford that's expanding its world-class quantitative research team. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of systematic trading, developing alpha-generating strategies from idea generation through to live execution.
You’ll be researching complex, large-scale datasets, uncovering predictive signals, and collaborating with some of the industry's brightest researchers and engineers in a genuinely cutting-edge environment.
What we're looking for:- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline
- 2+ years' experience in Market Making, High-Frequency Trading, or a similar quantitative trading environment
- Strong Python skills, including data analysis, modelling, and machine learning
- Deep understanding of statistical research and inference using large datasets
- Curious, analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
