The Role Working closely with the Head of Wealth Planning and a team of experienced Financial Planners, you'll provide high-quality technical support across a wide range of complex client cases.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing detailed suitability reports and financial planning recommendations Conducting technical research across pensions, investments, tax planning and estate planning Carrying out extensive cashflow modelling Analysing client information to support bespoke financial planning strategies Liaising with providers, clients and advisers to obtain technical information Supporting advisers with complex client cases from recommendation through to implementation This is a genuine career Paraplanner position, ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and wants to continue developing within a specialist paraplanning role rather than moving into financial advice.
What's on Offer Salary between £55,000 and £75,000 Discretionary annual bonus Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) Modern City of London offices Standard working hours (9:00am-5:30pm) Exposure to complex, high-quality financial planning cases Supportive, collaborative team culture Long-term career development within an ambitious and growing business About You We're keen to speak with experienced Paraplanners who possess:
At least 4-5 years' paraplanning experience within financial planning or wealth management Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and wider financial planning Experience producing high-quality suitability reports Cashflow modelling experience (Voyant preferred) Experience using industry research tools such as FE Analytics Chartered Financial Planner status, or active progress towards Chartered, would be highly advantageous Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a genuine passion for technical financial planning.
