This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in strengthening housing regulation, compliance, and service improvement. You will help ensure the Housing Directorate delivers safe, modern, compliant and high‑quality services that make a real difference to residents.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading housing regulatory compliance and service improvement activity

* Producing clear, high‑quality reports, strategies, policies and presentations

* Working closely with colleagues, partners and data specialists to raise standards

* Supporting service reviews, improvement plans and programme delivery

* Acting as a subject‑matter expert in housing law, regulation and best practice

* Monitoring risks, ensuring compliance and driving operational improvement

We're looking for:

* Expert knowledge of social housing legislation and regulatory standards

* Experience in social housing, compliance, or project/programme management

* Strong investigative and problem‑solving skills

* Ability to analyse data and develop performance frameworks

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and delegate

* Confidence preparing professional reports and documentation for varied audiences
