About the role

Joining the Economic Policy Network (EPN) at Oxford's Blavatnik School of Government, you will help shape evidence-based economic reform in lower middle-income countries. Working closely with leading academics and senior policy advisers, you'll undertake country diagnostics, develop policy recommendations, and engage directly with governments on issues including economic growth, macroeconomic policy and the political economy of reform. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact policy work while helping build a growing international research and advisory network.

You have experience working on development challenges, ideally in Africa, including direct engagement with policymakers or governments, and can communicate complex economic and political economy analysis clearly to a range of audiences. Comfortable managing multiple priorities, collaborating across international teams, and engaging with senior stakeholders, you combine rigorous research with sound judgement, initiative and a commitment to delivering real-world impact.
