Salary: £20 - £22 P / H

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilised and organised
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures
• Maintain a count of all surgical instruments and supplies to prevent discrepancies
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist as required
• Follow strict aseptic techniques to minimise the risk of infection
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment
• Assist with patient positioning and draping
• Document and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures
• Stay up-to-date on best practices in surgical nursing and sterilisation procedures
