We are offering an exciting opportunity for a band 5 to join our team of neuro-rehabilitation occupational therapists at OCE.
The Neurological Rehabilitation Service at the OCE provides in and outpatient rehabilitation for adults with neurological disorders and a day service for patients with longterm neurological disorders.
The Occupational Therapy team provides specialist assessment and treatment to patients admitted to the service working within a interdisciplinary team of physiotherapists, nurses,doctors, speech and language therapists and clinical psychologists.
As a band 5 OT at OCE you will be:
- Working autonomously as part of the Occupational Therapy team providing assessment and treatment to patients referred to the service.
- Have your own caseload and work under the guidance of the senior OTs/Lead OT as appropriate.
- Working as part of the interdisciplinary team at OCE providing specialistrehabilitation.
- Assisting the Lead Occupational Therapist in the provision, monitoring and development of the Occupational Therapy Service in the Oxford Centrefor Enablement
- Responsible for maintaining and developing your own continuous professional development.

Job responsibilities Communication:- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) or in last 6 months of studies.
- Relevant Undergraduate/Postgraduate Occupational Therapy clinical experience
- HCPC registration
- Knowledge, understanding of the OT process, OT models and evidence based practice
- Knowledge of therapy assessment techniques and tools.
- Problem solving approach
- Able to demonstrate ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team
- Relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting
