Registered Nurse (Learning Disability, Mental Health), Oxford, £32-£37 per hour
Role OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in Learning Disability and Mental Health to join our team in Oxford. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high‑quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs, working flexibly to meet the needs of our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable agency, offering ongoing regular hours, including days and sleep‑ins, with a competitive hourly rate of £32-£37 per hour.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, and delivering individualised care plans
- Administering medications
- Providing emotional support and guidance to service users
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Using excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues, promoting a person‑centred approach to care
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin
- Hold a qualification in Learning Disability and Mental Health Nursing
- Have experience working in a similar setting, with a strong understanding of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions
- Be able to work flexibly, think critically, and make sound judgements
In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive hourly rate of £32-£37 per hour, with ongoing regular hours available, including days and sleep‑ins. You will also have access to free online training and development opportunities, as well as a £40 DBS refund if you complete 150 hours within the first 3 months (terms apply).
