Mainduties of the job
As a Senior Therapy Radiographer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality radiotherapy services within one of our specialist centres in Oxford, Guildford or Windsor. You will work as part of an integrated and collaborative radiotherapy team, supporting safe, accurate and efficient patient care. You will rotate across multiple treatment platforms and modalities within your centre to support the overall radiotherapy service.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to build a wide-ranging clinical skillset and develop as an imaging and treatment practitioner for complex radiotherapy techniques, including SA , SRS and adaptive MR-Linac treatments (centre dependent). You will be a key contributor to service quality, innovation and research activity, while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Job responsibilities- Work as part of an integrated radiotherapy team to drive operational, technical and clinical excellence across all treatment platforms.
- Deliver high-quality, safe and efficient patient management, contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.
- Support the development and implementation of protocols, clinical research activity and clinical trials across multiple radiotherapy platforms.
- Participate in quality assurance, pre-treatment simulation, on-treatment imaging, dosimetry review and treatment delivery.
- Promote a holistic, compassionate approach to patient care.
- Build strong working relationships with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to support the smooth running of the service.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and process innovation.
- Act as an ambassador for Genesis Care, reflecting our values and commitment to excellence.
- Extensive experience across the radiotherapy pathway including QA, simulation, imaging and treatment delivery.
- Evidence of teamwork and collaborative working.
- Empathy, compassion and a holistic approach to patient care.
- Strong understanding of governance and safety in radiotherapy.
- Effective organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and work flexibly to meet service needs.
- Willingness to undertake cannulation training and accreditation.
- Desirable: experience of adopting or developing novel imaging and dose delivery techniques.
- DCR (DR) or BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography.
- Significant post-graduate clinical experience.
- HCPC registration.
- Evidence of ongoing CPD and commitment to professional development.
