We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Trials Pharmacist to play a pivotal role in advancing our portfolio of innovative clinical trials. This role combines pharmaceutical expertise with project management, overseeing the preparation, supply, and storage of investigational medicinal products (IMPs) and supporting the success of pharmacy participation in trials that shape the future of medicine.

Responsibilities- Participate in all aspects of Pharmacy Clinical Trials from setup to close down.
- Conduct feasibility reviews to determine trial supportability.
- Present pharmacy operational costings to sponsors.
- Set up and update study-specific documents.
- Process amendments promptly.
- Proactively address challenges to ensure trial progression, maintaining patient safety and data integrity.
- Provide regular updates on pharmaceutical aspects to align with project goals.
- Check accuracy of oral and aseptically prepared trial medications.
- Coordinate and deliver pharmacy support to researchers within Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
- Plan workload for pharmacy services and ensure operational implementation.
- Ensure compliance with ICH/GCP, EU Directive 2001/20/EC, FDA, GMP, and research governance frameworks.
- Provide specialised professional expertise to researchers in protocol development and MHRA trial authorisation.
- Interact with and support Clinical Trial Technicians and Senior Technical Officer.
- Gain experience in Aseptic Preparation of IMPs in our clinical trials aseptic unit and ATMP Unit.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong communication.
- M Pharm qualified to masters degree level (4 year MPharm) or equivalent.
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (Great Britain).
- Wide hospital pharmacy experience.
- Problem‑identification and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads.
- Good team member, time management and organisational skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Negotiation, interpersonal and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic and motivated.
- Experience in multidisciplinary teams.
- Postgraduate clinical pharmacy certificate or GPhC registered independent prescriber.
- Previous clinical trials or research experience.
- Aseptic unit experience.
- Research ethics experience/training.
- Involvement in developing a service.
- Experience presenting to a group.
- Diploma/MSc in Clinical/Hospital Pharmacy or appropriate research qualification.
