We are seeking an enthusiastic Sample Compliance and Quality Managerto join the Nuffield Department of Medici neat the Jenner Institute University of Oxford, and play a key role in world-leading vaccine and clinical research.

In this role, you will work at the heart of clinical trials activity, ensuring that valuable biological samples are managed to the highest standards of HTA, GCP and GCLPcompliance. You will coordinate HTA-registered biobank collections, support audits and inspections, develop and maintain quality systems, and collaborate closely with scientists and clinical teams across the Oxford Vaccine Centre to enable impactful, ethical research.

You will bring a strong understanding of clinical trial and human tissue regulations, experience working with clinical samples, excellent written communication skills, and the confidence to work independently and provide effective guidance across multidisciplinary teams. A degree in a life science or health-related subject is essential.

This position is offered full time on a fixed term contract for 15 months and is funded by the Department.

Standard Grade 7:
Salary in range £39,424 - £47,779 per annum (pro rata). This is inclusive of a pensionable Oxford University Weighting of £1,730 per year (pro rata)
