EUD Engineer

Adecco is recruiting for an End User Device Engineer for a large organisation based in Oxfordshire on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will have experience within general desk side support and physical Desktop PC installations with Windows 10, smartphones, laptops and desktops. This position requires a full UK driving licence, and a company vehicle will be provided.

The day rate will be £250 inside IR35 paid to Umbrella, and the contract will require DBS vetting with the end date expected at the end of March 2026 (extensions likely). This is a full‑time position (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00.

• Troubleshoot and resolve EUD incidents, requests and problems within the agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Identify patterns and trends within the EUD services and take proactive measures to transform issues into problems.
• Ensure the EUD Senior Engineer is aware of any changes required to documentation and knowledge articles.
• Support the schedule of moves, projects, events and tech provisions, providing a proactive service.
• Identify any service improvements within the EUD service delivery and highlight them to EUD Senior Engineers.

• Experience with a previous large‑scale Windows migration.
• Ability to cope under pressure.
• Pay great attention to detail.
• Excellent experience supporting Windows 10.
• Excellent customer‑facing skills, comfortable working with all levels of staff.
• Good communication skills.
