We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, global organisation with a complex enterprise network environment and an ongoing programme of infrastructure investment. This is a permanent, in-house role offering real ownership across a large, multi-site estate.
The position suits a senior, hands-on network engineer who enjoys autonomy, working across varied technologies, and contributing to meaningful transformation projects rather than operating in a narrow or siloed role.
The RoleYou will be responsible for the delivery, optimisation, and ongoing support of a global enterprise network, working closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and improving enterprise LAN, WAN, campus, and data centre networks
- Contributing to a major firewall refresh project
- Working across multiple international sites and data centres
- Taking ownership of network delivery and continuous improvement
- Supporting cloud connectivity and modern network services
- Assisting with vendor evaluation and technology selection
- Cisco (routing, switching, campus, firewalls)
- Infoblox
- WAN connectivity and global networking
DO NOT NEED EXPERIENCE WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE
About You- Strong experience in enterprise network environments
- Comfortable working across a broad technology stack
- Experience in MSP or complex multi-site environments beneficial
- Proactive, autonomous, and delivery-focused mindset
- Not narrowly specialised or service-provider siloed
- CCNP / CCIE-level capability welcomed, but certifications are not essential
- Oxford-based role
