AWS Cloud Engineer

Salary: £70,000 per annum

AWS Cloud Engineer - we are seeking a versatile Cloud Engineer to help develop, deploy, and maintain robust data processing and analytics pipelines. You will be part of a cross-functional team of developers, data scientists, and cloud architects, working collaboratively to drive innovation using modern cloud infrastructure and development best practices.

• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure for hosting a multi-tenant SaaS platform (AWS: Dynamo
  
  DB, ECS, VPC, etc.).
• Develop CI/CD workflows (Git Hub Actions) to automate deployments, testing, security checks, and monitoring.
• Support the development of systems for alerting, monitoring, and observability of the live platform.
• Ensure systems are built with security, scalability, and cost-efficiency in mind.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical requirements and project goals.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and participate in architecture reviews.
• Ensure guardrails and mitigations are in place to enable the safe and responsible use of AI coding agents.

• Cloud Platforms:
  Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including serverless computing, containerisation, and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD:
  Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Git Hub Actions.
• Previous experience working on a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance frameworks.
