We want you to #JOINTHEREBELLION!

For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

We are on the lookout for an exceptional Head of IT to lead our IT function, shape our technology strategy, and build strong partnerships across the business.

This is more than a technical leadership role. We are seeking an authentic and visible leader who can inspire teams, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure technology enables creativity, innovation, and business success across our studios.

You will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of IT services, ensuring our infrastructure, systems and support functions meet the demands of a fast-paced and highly creative environment, where technology is at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

  • Significant experience in a senior IT leadership role, with responsibility for strategy, multi-site operations, and people management.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing technical teams, with a passion for developing people and building relationships.
  • Experience defining and delivering IT strategies, roadmaps, and transformation programmes that support business objectives and growth.
  • Strong technical expertise across infrastructure, networking, cloud services, security, and end-user computing.
  • Demonstrable success in improving IT service delivery, operational performance, and user satisfaction.
  • Experience leading security, risk management, and business continuity initiatives in complex environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including budget management, procurement, vendor management, and delivering value from third-party providers.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and partner effectively across the organisation, ideally within a creative, technology, or game development environment.
