AWS DevSecOps Engineer

Oxfordshire (1 day per week in office) Salary : £50,000 - £58,000 Experience needed :
Experience building and supporting cloud security solutions within AWS environments, with hands-on exposure to Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and security tooling. About our Team We're looking for a Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team, helping to build, deploy, and support the security tooling that protects large-scale cloud platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on AWS, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and Dev Sec Ops  practices.

You'll work closely with security, cloud, and software engineering teams to improve security, reliability, and operational efficiency across the organisation's technology estate. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions Deploy, configure, and maintain security tooling across cloud environments Work with engineering teams to improve security, reliability, and operational resilience Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions Support incident response, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities Contribute to automation initiatives and security-by-design practices Requirements Experience working with AWS cloud environments Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Git Hub Actions Knowledge of security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, IDS/IPS, or vulnerability management platforms Scripting experience using Python, Shell, or similar languages
