PAM Specialist

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, who is seeking a PAM Specialist for an initial 6‑month assignment with the option to extend.

Location:

Culham, Oxfordshire | Hybrid

The ideal candidate will possess an active security clearance and have a strong background in Privileged Access Management (PAM).

• Proven hands‑on experience in the implementation and management of PAM toolkits.
• Proficiency in the configuration and management of Privileged Remote Access.
• A comprehensive understanding of credential vaulting, password rotation, and check‑in/check‑out workflows.
• Experience in configuring privileged session recording and monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of service account discovery and lifecycle management processes.
• Familiarity with onboarding Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and network devices to PAM platforms.
• An understanding of Active Directory privileged account management practices.
• Experience in integrating Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for PAM event logging and alerting.
• Familiarity with recognised security frameworks, including ISO 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for addressing connector and session issues.
• Proficient documentation skills for technical configurations and development of runbooks.

Experience in secure environments, particularly within the public sector or defence, is highly advantageous.
