Junior Image Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Junior Image Analyst to join Caristo Diagnostics rapidly growing team. Based in Oxford, you will work in our global data operations team with colleagues in both U.S. and UK.

Named first of "7 Technologies That Could Change Heart Healthcare Forevermore" by the Robb Report, the CaRi-Heart® technology is Caristo’s flagship offering which uncovers hidden coronary inflammation, a key driver of cardiovascular disease, on routine Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA). The technology is regulatory approved for commercial use in US, Europe, and Australia, and is currently being piloted in several NHS sites.

The CaRi-Heart Technology is also a receipt of the NHS AI award and has been recognized by the British Heart Foundation as a game-changing innovation for preventing cardiovascular disease. Multiple patents underpinning CaRi-Heart technologies have been granted in major jurisdictions around the world. Caristo are looking for Junior Image Analysts to expand the current team of 8 in the UK. The role will predominantly involve analysing cardiac CT scans using our proprietary CaRi-Heart software, in line with company standard operating procedures. Analysts will work across a range of projects, including internal company initiatives, patient scans from clinical customers, research and pharmaceutical projects. A comprehensive training program is provided as part of the role.

Department Operations. Reporting to Image Analyst Lead & Cardiac Radiographer

This role is based in Oxford, UK. During the initial training period, full time attendance in the office is required. After this, a minimum of 4 days per week in the office is expected. We therefore require candidates to be based within 50 miles of Oxford.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analysis of cardiac CT scans in line with company SOPs
• Analysis of clinical and research project data
• Management of customer data (logging and reporting)
• Collaborating with teams across the organisation to continuously improve our software, workflows, and internal processes
• Liaising with clinical staff as part of image quality control
• Providing timely support to customers

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in technical or life-science subject (e.g. biomedical sciences)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic understanding of statistics
• Computer literate
