A pioneering technology manufacturer operating at the forefront of advanced materials and clean energy is seeking a Strategic Supply Chain Manager to support the next phase of its commercial scale-up.
This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to shape and develop a global supply chain strategy within a highly innovative, international environment.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in building a resilient, scalable, and sustainable supply chain capable of supporting high-volume manufacturing and future international expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement global supply chain strategies aligned with business growth and manufacturing scale-up
- Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships across critical technical categories
- Lead supplier qualification activities and long-term sourcing strategies
- Drive supply chain risk management and resilience initiatives
- Implement dual-sourcing and contingency plans
- Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and ESG metrics
- Support cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and procurement teams
- Contribute to long-range planning, Cap Ex projects, and future manufacturing readiness
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Significant experience within strategic supply chain or strategic procurement positions
- Experience with in deep-tech, semiconductor, photovoltaics, electronics, advanced materials, or high-volume manufacturing environments
- A track record of developing and managing complex global supply chains
- Strong commercial acumen and supplier negotiation experience
- Experience with supplier qualification, risk management, and dual-sourcing strategies
- The ability to influence stakeholders across technical and commercial functions
- A proactive and self-sufficient approach with a strong "can-do" mentality
