Work hours:
Monday to Thursday: 9am to 5:30pm, Friday 9am - 3pm Salary: £33,000 to £34,500 22 days holiday, increasing with length of service, plus bank holidays Other benefits following completion of probation:

Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and agreed service level targets are achieved. Monitor and resolve back orders, minimising supply disruptions and improving stock availability. Carry out demand forecasting and inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels. Place and expedite purchase orders with UK and international suppliers. Review stock against safety stock levels and implement replenishment plans where required.
Monitor open purchase orders, confirming supplier acknowledgements and delivery schedules. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Liaise with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure compliance with operational, shipping, and customs procedures. Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate supplier records and reporting Reconcile and approve supplier invoices using ERP systems. Analyse inventory data to identify trends, improve stock control, and support continuous process improvements.
Ensure all inventory and purchasing activities are completed in line with company procedures and KPIs. Inventory Specialist
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in an inventory, supply chain, purchasing or stock control environment. Good understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.
Experience with demand forecasting, stock planning and replenishment. Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills, with excellent numerical ability. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Confident IT user with experience of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
Proactive, self-motivated and able to use initiative to resolve problems. A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
