/p> hat will I be doing? p>You’ll be out on the road, visiting a variety of client sites — from hospitals and schools to commercial and industrial settings — making sure their water systems are compliant, clean, and safe. /p> our day-to-day will include: ul> li>Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), sampling, flushing, disinfecting, and chemical treatment of water systems /li> li>Performing remedial works, tank cleans, and chlorination /li> li>Ensuring compliance with ACOP L8, HSG
274, and other water hygiene regulations /li> li>Recording and reporting site activities accurately using company systems /li> li>Spotting and reporting system issues before they become bigger problems /li> li>Representing SMS Environmental professionally with clients on-site /li> /ul> hat do I need to be successful? p>We’re looking for someone who: /p> ul> li>Communicates clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues /li> li>Is willing to learn, take guidance, and build confidence working both independently and as part of a team /li> li>Can manage their time well and follow instructions /li> li>Holds a full UK driving licence (or is working towards one, if applicable) /li> li>Is able to pass Disclosure and Barring Service clearance (Enhanced DBS check) > /li> /ul> p>Bonus points if you’ve got a knack for problem-solving and love a job that keeps you moving and learning.
