Our Kennington location is pleased to announce it will be incorporating the UK CAA approved Component Workshop in Q2. As a result of this, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Component Mechanics to join our team in Kennington, Oxford. Specialising in wheels and related repair work, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing essential aircraft components, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities:- Responsibility to certify and perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities on aircraft wheels and associated components.
- Adhere to maintenance manuals, engineering instructions, and regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA Part 145 standards).
- Clearly record on worksheets details of the tasks completed, accurately reflecting the works performed with time booking.
- Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements.
- Support the workshop team in achieving production schedules and performance targets.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment.
- Comply with all procedures listed in the current Staff Company Handbook.
- Any other duties commensurate with the position.
- A minimum of 2 years working in Aviation.
- Minimum of 1 year working in a wheel component environment.
- Relevant component training by the OEM or OEM authorised, or part 145.
- Preferably held component certification privileges.
- Preferably have a working knowledge of CAA regulations which applies to component overhaul/repair.
- Preferably have NDI competence in Eddy Current and/or Penetrant Flaw Detection.
- Strong attention to detail.
