Gardener / Maintenance Support Assistant - Oxford City Centre

Our client, a well-established independent school in Oxford, is hiring a friendly and proactive Gardener / Maintenance Support Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your gardening and practical maintenance skills in a vibrant educational environment.

What you'll be doing:

* Maintaining the school grounds, landscaped areas, and gardens to a high standard

* Assisting with general maintenance tasks around the school premises

* Moving furniture and setting up for events

* Supporting day-to-day operational needs of the school

* Heavy lifting and manoeuvring of furniture as required

What you'll bring:

* Basic gardening and groundskeeping skills

* Practical maintenance experience

* A positive attitude and good work ethic

* Willingness to undertake physical tasks, including heavy lifting

* Flexibility to support the school's operational needs

Additional information:

* Working hours:

36 hours a week, rotating shift pattern including early, late and weekends
* £27171 annual salary including Pension, free lunch (term time only)

An enhanced DBS check will be required due to the environment
