Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Opportunity in Oxford
Salary: £39,000–45,000 pending experience and accreditation, with an uncapped bonus scheme of £55,000+ OTE
.
Hours:
40‑hour week, either 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday, with an hour lunch, and 1 in 3/4 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm, paid as overtime. Benefits:

- Leading diagnostics and fault‑finding across a wide range of vehicles
- Carrying out high‑level repairs and technical work to manufacturer standards
- Working closely with the Workshop Controller to maintain efficiency and productivity
- Ensuring accurate and thorough job card completion and reporting
- Supporting quality control and maintaining high workshop standards
- Carrying out vehicle health checks (EVHC) and identifying additional work
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Trained to either Diagnostic or Master Vehicle Technician level with exposure to complex diagnostic/servicing work
- Experience in electrical and mechanical systems
- UK driving licence with minimal points
- Committed individual, good team player with a mentor mindset
- Ability to produce high‑quality work in a busy franchise‑approved dealership environment
- Motivated to work towards targets set for the team
- Active MOT Tester licence beneficial but not essential
- Basic salary £39,000–45,000 pending experience and accreditation
- Uncapped realistic bonus scheme £55,000+ on target earnings
