As IPS Team Leader in TP Oxfordshire, you will manage a team of employment specialists workers holding caseloads of substance‑using clients in treatment who would like help to find employment. You will have experience in the delivery of specialist employment services and a passion for making a difference to the lives of the people we support. Partnership working will play an important role in your day‑to‑day work and you will have experience in building and maintaining excellent relationships with local organisations/employers to support the work of your team.

Internally you will work closely with other managers and staff from teams across Oxfordshire to ensure the IPS service is fully integrated into the service and is receiving the necessary volumes of referrals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the IPS team.
  • Carry a caseload to support service users to identify and meet their vocational goals by providing individually tailored programmes using a person‑centred approach.
  • Build potential employment opportunities through proactive engagement with potential employers.
  • Ensure the IPS service is fully integrated across all Oxfordshire Treatment Hubs.
  • Lead a team and manage your own caseload to help people find employment.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven track record in delivery of employment services.
  • In‑depth knowledge of IPS service delivery.
  • Experience of supervising a team or, if new to management, supporting, mentoring or coaching colleagues/volunteers.
  • Numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
  • Experience in partnership working with local organisations and employers.
Benefits
  • Salary £39,155 rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, rising to £45,806 per year.
  • 25 days’ paid holiday a year + Bank Holidays, increasing with each year of service up to 27 days + Bank Holidays. Plus the option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost.
