Overview
We are seeking a Hotel Services Manager to plan, organise, develop and oversee the care home support staff, including Kitchen, Domestic/Laundry and Maintenance teams, ensuring the highest standard of resident care at all times. This role is based at Chawley Grove, a luxury care home in Oxford part of Hamberley Care Homes.
Responsibilities- Staffing, scheduling, holiday planning and training; supervising and creating rotas to ensure adequate cover across all departments; developing the staff within the four department teams; ensuring training and competency records for each member are completed.
- Plan, organise and direct team members to achieve high resident and visitor satisfaction; uphold and promote high standards of cleanliness, safety and conduct.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the home.
- Manage the budget for Kitchen, Domestic/Laundry and Maintenance departments.
- Motivate and develop individuals within the team to meet current and future team and resident needs.
- Ensure the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.
- Experience as a manager within a hospitality or care background.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities to ensure residents receive an engaging experience.
- Flexible and able to remain focused on results under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
- Self-motivated and confident.
- Decisive, proactive, flexible and adaptable.
- Strong customer service skills.
