Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Plant Hire Manager for a full‑time, on‑site role located in the Greater Oxford Area. The Plant Hire Manager will oversee daily operations within the plant hire division, including scheduling hires, managing equipment inventory, coordinating maintenance, liaising with clients, and ensuring operational efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with the sales, service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless processes and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Plant Management, Operations Management, and Plant Operations
- Proven ability to oversee equipment scheduling, maintenance coordination, and inventory management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client liaison and team collaboration
- Knowledge of the construction, agricultural, or landscaping sectors is preferred
- Problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Proficiency with relevant software for operations or inventory tracking is a plus
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the service area occasionally
