Job Description & How to Apply Below
With an annual turnover of circa £30 million, the business delivers a diverse portfolio of new build and refurbishment projects across the heritage, hospitality, leisure and commercial sectors. Typical project values range from £2m to £20m, with work secured through a strong pipeline of repeat business and longstanding client relationships.
This is a genuine multiple site management opportunity, offering a high level of autonomy. You'll take strategic responsibility for the successful delivery of several projects across Oxfordshire, leading Site Managers and Foremen while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the high standards the business is known for.
Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you'll play an important role in the continued growth of the business, helping to shape project delivery and support the development of operational teams as the company continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the delivery of multiple live construction projects across Oxfordshire.
* Lead and support Site Managers and Foremen, providing direction, mentoring and ensuring consistent project performance.
* Monitor programme, quality, health and safety and commercial performance across all projects, reporting regularly to the Construction Manager.
* Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered successfully from inception through to completion.
* Identify project risks, resolve operational challenges and drive successful outcomes across your portfolio.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Previous experience as a Project Manager with responsibility for either a single large project or multiple live projects.
* A proven track record of delivering construction projects from start to finish, including both new build and refurbishment schemes.
* Experience delivering projects within the heritage, hospitality, leisure or commercial sectors would be highly advantageous.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing Site Managers, Foremen and subcontractors.
* A consistent employment history with established main contractors is essential.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
This opportunity will suit an experienced Project Manager looking for greater autonomy and the chance to influence the growth of an ambitious contractor. If you're looking for a role where you'll be trusted to manage projects with minimal supervision while playing a key role in the future of the business, we'd be keen to speak with you.
