Planning Performance Manager
Oxfordshire, UK | 6‑Month Initial Contract – Inside IR35 Hybrid Working (2‑3 Days Onsite) | £Flexible Day Rate
Sellick Partnership is seeking an ambitious Planning Performance Manager to support a high‑profile improvement programme across Planning and Building Control services. This is a key leadership role focused on driving performance, transformation, customer satisfaction and service improvement within a service undergoing significant change.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in improving operational performance, implementing efficiencies and supporting preparations for Local Government Reform.
Key Duties- Leading performance management, monitoring and reporting across Planning and Building Control services.
- Analysing and interpreting performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Driving service improvement initiatives and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to support strategic planning, business planning and budget management.
- Supporting digital transformation, systems improvement and process automation programmes.
- Overseeing customer satisfaction initiatives, complaints management and FOI/EIR responses.
- Managing procurement and contract management activities.
- Supporting workforce planning, recruitment and staff development initiatives.
- Providing leadership to operational support functions and contributing to wider organisational transformation programmes.
- Supporting preparations for Local Government Reform and organisational change.
