Maintenance Engineer - Continental Shifts (Manufacturing)

Salary: £50k - £55k + benefits

We are recruiting a proactive Maintenance Engineer to work on a continental shift pattern within our modern manufacturing facility in the SN/OX region. You will play a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently by delivering both planned and reactive maintenance to a range of machinery and plant equipment.

• Complete PPM and breakdown maintenance on production and packaging machinery
• Rapidly diagnose and rectify mechanical and/or electrical faults to minimise downtime
• Support improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and reliability initiatives
• Ensure compliance with site Health & Safety policies and safe systems of work
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and contribute to continuous improvement culture
• Work collaboratively with production teams to achieve site performance targets

• Time-served or qualified Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
• Experience with in a manufacturing or FMCG production environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem‑solving skills
• Comfortable working on a continental shift pattern
• Knowledge of PPM systems and basic understanding of PLCs advantageous
