Electronic Assembly Technician Chalgrove, Oxfordshire £13.50 per hour | Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Are you an experienced Cable Harness or Electronic Assembly Technician looking to join a small, friendly, and growing company where quality workmanship truly matters? Our client, a specialist manufacturer of high-precision assemblies for the medical industry, is seeking a skilled technician to join their close-knit team based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.

The Company

You’ll be joining a small business of around 12 people, including a hands‑on workshop team of four. The company prides itself on producing 100% defect‑free assemblies that play a vital role in medical equipment used worldwide. With a focus on quality, care, and precision, you’ll be part of a supportive environment where every detail counts.

The Role
  • Assemble and inspect cable harnesses and electronic products to high standards of accuracy.
  • Carry out precise soldering and tinning work, including joining cables and soldering components onto PCBs.
  • Use hand crimping tools and a variety of workshop equipment to complete detailed finishing work.
  • Follow technical drawings and assembly instructions carefully, maintaining documentation as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold the company’s commitment to zero‑defect manufacturing.
About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in cable harness or electronic assembly, ideally within a high‑reliability or regulated industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Confidence in soldering and crimping to fine tolerances.
  • A proactive, quality‑focused mindset and pride in your craftsmanship.
  • Own transport, as public transport links to the site are limited.
Hours and Pay
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no shifts or weekends)
  • £13.50 per hour, with opportunities for long‑term development within the team
