Barron Industries is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Technician to support aerospace and defense programs through laboratory-based materials and metallurgical testing
. This role requires hands‑on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment and familiarity with aerospace quality standards.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities Perform laboratory inspections on metal componentsConduct metallurgical and materials testing
, including:- Chemical analysis using spectrometers
- Tensile testing
- Charpy impact testing
Analyze and document test results in accordance with AS9100 and aerospace/defense quality requirementsMaintain accurate quality documentation and inspection recordsCreate customer certification documentRecord scrapped productSupport corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure product complianceEnsure mission-critical components meet customer, regulatory, and internal specificationsRequired Qualifications
2+ years of hands‑on laboratory or materials testing experience in manufacturingStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyEffective communication and organizational skillsExperience working in a regulated manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications
Experience in precision casting, investment casting, metal casting, or precision machiningAssociate degree or higher in engineering, lab technology, or related technical fieldAS9100 training or experienceAerospace or defense manufacturing backgroundCompensation & Benefits
