Hours:

Monday–Thursday 8:00–17:00 | Friday 8:00–12:00
Salary: £13.70–£13.91 per hour (£26,700 per annum)

An established aerospace engineering company is seeking an
Assembly Operative to join its specialist manufacturing team based in Chalgrove. This is a hands-on, highly regulated role working with hazardous and explosive components
, where safety, precision, and attention to detail are critical. This opportunity would suit candidates with experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling explosive components safely and in accordance with strict procedures
• Assembling parts to precise tolerances using specialised tools and equipment
• Reading and following engineering drawings and production documentation
• Carrying out self-inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Updating production records and documentation using SAP

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing
  , ideally aerospace or a regulated industry
• Experience working with hazardous or safety‑critical materials is highly desirable
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow detailed work instructions
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures
• High attention to detail with a methodical, disciplined approach
• Comfortable working independently and in high‑pressure environments
• Good communication skills and a stable work history (5 years preferred)
