We are looking for a Production Assistant to help with all day-to-day tasks of preparation, manufacture, and inspection of compounding medicine. We provide support for all aspects of cleanroom production, including aseptic compounding, equipment utilization, inventory control, environmental monitoring, and non-conformance resolution, to ensure compliance with the Manufacturing Licence and Quality System requirements.

The role will be working between Monday and Friday on rotating shifts of 7am - 3pm and 10am - 6pm.

• Perform visual inspection and labelling of the finished products
• Select, prepare, and sanitize raw materials.
• Prepare isolators for sanitisation
• Clean and maintain all areas
• Perform equipment checks

• Required: English minimum equivalent to RQF Grade 2, EQF Grade 3 or SCQF Grade 5
• Preferred:
  Science subject minimum equivalent to RQF Grade 2, EQF Grade 3 or SCQF Grade 5
• Ability to use Windows based computer systems
• Previous experience in a GMP environment would be a plus but not required

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Annual salary of £24,600 plus a weekly shift allowance of £22.01
