We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day assembly and testing operations within an R&D and prototype environment. The role combines team leadership, operational planning, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver high‑quality work safely and efficiently. It offers the opportunity to shape processes, develop team capability, and contribute to continuous improvement across the function.

• Coordinate and allocate assembly and test activities to ensure safe, timely, and high‑quality delivery
• Adapt schedules and priorities as workloads and project demands change
• Manage planning and resource allocation to maintain a clear and consistent workflow for technicians
• Develop and maintain clear working procedures and documentation, ensuring processes are followed and continuously improved
• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians, helping resolve issues and develop team capability
• Liaise with wider teams and stakeholders to communicate priorities, timelines, and dependencies effectively
• Maintain organised and efficient assembly and test areas in line with 5S principles

• Experience supervising and mentoring teams
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in an agile, fast‑paced development setting
• Knowledge of 5S / Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement
• UK driving licence
