Cell Test Technician

Our client is an innovative technology company developing advanced materials for high-performance applications. They are looking for a Cell Test Technician to join their Electrochemistry team and support the development and validation of next-generation materials.

Working within a laboratory environment, you'll support the manufacture, assembly and testing of electrochemical cells, helping to validate new materials and technologies.

• Manufacture electrodes through slurry mixing, coating and calendaring.
• Assemble coin and pouch cells within controlled dry-room environments.
• Carry out electrochemical testing and maintain laboratory testing equipment.
• Record experimental data and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
• Follow laboratory procedures while ensuring high standards of health, safety and quality.

You’ll have laboratory experience and enjoy working in a hands‑on technical environment.

• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Experience following standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Experience handling experimental data.
• Competent with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Experience assembling coin or pouch cells.
• Electrode manufacturing or slurry preparation.
• Experience working within dry-room environments.
• Experience handling powders.
