Oxford | Permanent | Days | £30160 to £37440 (doe) per annum PAYE + Overtime

We’re looking for two experienced Composite Trimmers to join a growing advanced composites manufacturer in Oxford. If you take pride in producing high‑quality finished carbon fibre components and enjoy working in a fast‑paced engineering environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Working within a skilled production team, you’ll be responsible for trimming and finishing advanced composite components to exact engineering specifications.

• Trimming cured carbon fibre and composite components
• Using routers, diamond cutting tools, air tools and hand tools
• Drilling, machining and edge finishing composite parts
• Preparing components for bonding and assembly
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Working to tight tolerances and high cosmetic standards
• Carrying out self‑inspection to ensure right‑first‑time quality
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

To be successful, you’ll have at least three years’ experience trimming composite components within an advanced manufacturing environment.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in:

• Carbon fibre composite trimming
• Prepreg composite manufacturing
• Aerospace, motor sport, Formula 1, automotive or other advanced composites industries
• Diamond cutting equipment, routers and air tools
• Working from engineering drawings
• Producing high‑quality cosmetic finishes
• Working to tight dimensional tolerances

You’ll be someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working as part of a close‑knit team.

• 40‑hour working week
• Day shifts
• Early finish every Friday at 3:00pm
• Overtime paid at 1.25x after 40 hours
• Weekends paid at 1.5x (45 hour min week)
