Step into a hands-on manufacturing role where you'll help produce mRNA vaccines that make a meaningful difference to patients around the world. Working in a highly digital, cGMP-regulated production environment, you'll combine scientific thinking, technical expertise and operational excellence to ensure the safe, compliant and reliable manufacture of commercial products. What You’ll Do
  • Operate mRNA vaccine production equipment in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing documentation.
  • Execute manufacturing operations safely while consistently adhering to Moderna's health, safety and environmental procedures and guidelines.
  • Follow gowning procedures and maintain excellent housekeeping standards to ensure a compliant, safe and inspection-ready manufacturing environment.
  • Partner closely with Quality Assurance colleagues to complete production documentation required to support the timely disposition of commercial batches.
  • Participate in investigations relating to manufacturing incidents and deviations, performing root cause analysis (RCA) and supporting the implementation of effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Apply operational performance tools and collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Respond quickly to routine equipment, process and digital system issues, troubleshooting effectively to minimise operational disruption.
  • Proactively identify and escape compliance, quality, health and safety concerns to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and associated documentation.
  • Perform routine basic equipment maintenance, including lubrication, basic mechanical checks and filter changes using hand tools.
  • Participate in multiple projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturing performance, quality, safety and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute ideas that improve processes, embrace new manufacturing technologies and support ongoing digital innovation across the production environment.
  • Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, cross-functional matrix organisation, building strong partnerships across Manufacturing, Quality and Operational teams.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work off-hours and overtime when business needs require, supporting manufacturing plans aligned with commercial demand.
