Start Your Career in Pharmaceuticals

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join Baxter's Oxford site as Production Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to begin or develop a career in the pharmaceutical industry, with full training provided.

You will play a key role in the preparation and inspection of compounded medicines, contributing directly to the production of high-quality healthcare products that make a real difference to patients' lives.

This is a full-time, permanent position
, working 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 7:00am - 3:00pm and 10:00am - 6:00pm (Monday to Friday).

• Work in a controlled cleanroom environment using manufacturing equipment and computer systems
• Collaborate with a team to produce high-quality medical products
• Meet tight production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance
• Carry out environmental monitoring activities
• Perform routine quality checks throughout the compounding process
• Accurately complete and manage production documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices
• Support various stages of manufacturing such as labelling, visual inspection, picking, preparation, and sanitisation

While full training is provided, the following would be advantageous:

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related industry
• Background in a cleanroom, hospital, or retail pharmacy environment
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques or holding a current Aseptic Operator Qualification
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
• Confidence using Windows-based computer systems
• Strong communication skills

• Good time management and organisational skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to work

• A salary of £27,000 plus a weekly shift allowance
