CNC Operator Stroud £35,980 Our client is a leader in the Design and Manufacturing of bespoke valves for a variety of industries and they are looking for a CNC Operator to join their team! CNC Operator

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate one or more CNC machines in the Cell Complete a ‘machine health check list’ daily Responsible for documenting and tracking in the Cell Stamp off your own work Report NCR’s (Non-Conformance Reports) Converse with the Production Team Leader and assist with other duties when needed Maintain a safe and tidy work environment Partake in training when required Minimise the level of scrap components Mentor and support new staff or apprentices Establish key delivery dates/requirements with the Production Team Leader and Production Manager Liaise with the Production Team Leader and communicate workshop issues to the CNC Setter / Charge Hand’s CNC Operator Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience CNC Operator Experience operating CNC Milling Machines Previously used Fanuc controls Engineering qualification preferably craft apprenticeship or equivalent Basic CNC programming and machine competence Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to be able to read and understand engineering drawings Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardised situations Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 28 years.
