CNC Milling Setter Operator Halifax Salary £31,616 PA Days - 38 Hours Per Week Mon-Thurs 7:00am-3:30pm | Fri 7:00am-1:00pm Are you an experienced CNC Milling Setter Operator looking for a permanent days role with overtime opportunities and early Friday finishes? We're recruiting for a well-established precision engineering company in Halifax that is looking to add a skilled CNC Milling Setter Operator to its growing machining team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and motivated CNC Milling Setter Operator to join a busy, supportive, and modern engineering environment producing high-quality precision components.

The Role As a CNC Milling Setter Operator, you'll be responsible for:
Setting & operating CNC Vertical Milling Machines Loading fixtures, vices & work holding equipment Installing & adjusting tooling Uploading & verifying CNC programmes Carrying out tool offsets & minor edits Producing components to tight tolerances Completing in-process quality inspections This role would suit a hands-on CNC Milling Setter Operator who takes pride in producing quality work and enjoys working within a precision engineering environment.

What We're Looking For Previous experience as a CNC Milling Setter Operator Strong understanding of CNC machining principles Ability to read engineering drawings confidently Experience using measuring equipment & gauges Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently & within a team Desirable Skills Heidenhain controls experience Minor programme editing experience Precision engineering background What's On Offer?
