37 hours per week during the first 6 months
Shift: 4 on 4 off, 07:00-16:30 after probation

Syntech Recruitment are recruiting for a Logistics Operative to join a specialist aerospace manufacturing business near Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.
The role involves preparing, packing and labelling products and components for internal and external transport, whilst undertaking multi-skilled duties within the Stores Department. You will pick a variety of mechanical components and hardware using Kardex machines, book in delivered goods on SAP, deliver materials to process rooms, undertake stock checks, and prepare documentation for shipping explosive assemblies.

- Book in all delivered goods to site on SAP as appropriate.
- Deliver materials to process rooms.
- Undertake regular stock checks on goods
- Palletise and label requisite check documentation (e.g. Dangerous Goods, ADR driver check) to enable shipping of explosive assemblies.
- Assist management of stores and explosive magazines in line with 5S principles.
- Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Work accurately and meticulously, both as part of a team and when lone working.
- Follow verbal and written instructions and requests.
- Experience in basic industrial logistic duties within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Basic grounding in Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Focused and meticulous approach to work.
- Team player with ability to work independently.
- Ability to follow instructions and requests, whether verbal or written.
