Location:
Cambridge Job Type: Temporary - 5 months REED Business Support are representing our client who are seeking a Marketing and Events Coordinator to support the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of student recruitment, student engagement, and institutional events. This role also involves providing marketing, content, and administrative support to the Marketing team. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Enrolment, Academic, and Student Support teams to ensure a high-quality experience for prospective and current students.
Day-to-day of the role:
Event Planning and Delivery :
Coordinate the planning and delivery of various events including postgraduate and MSt online open events, Undergraduate Open Week, student welcome events, Holocaust Memorial Day online event, and the annual Awards Ceremony. Marketing and Content Support :
Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of organic social media content across key platforms. Support marketing campaigns and maintain marketing records. Administrative Support :
Handle marketing administration tasks such as raising purchase orders, managing the marketing team inbox, and coordinating the ordering and stock management of promotional merchandise. Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Excellent organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. Experience in coordinating events, projects, or activities. Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and digital systems. Experience in building positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders. Desirable:
Experience in higher education or student recruitment, using CRM systems for event management, updating website content using a CMS, and creating/publishing social media content.
