Individual Giving Manager

WR Fundraising Recruitment are excited to once again be working with a national charity focussing on a range of community support from financial and welfare through to mental health and wellbeing programmes.

As part of the charity’s ambitious growth and development plan, we’re looking for an Individual Giving Manager to join a wider Fundraising & Communications team and lead in acquisition and retention campaigns using multi channel approaches across multiple channels including digital.

You will have the opportunity towork across all areas - regular giving, appeals, lotteries, legacies, in memory, tribute and trading and have the opportunity to flex your creativity, developing new individual giving campaigns and taking full ownership of their success.

Individual Giving Manager

Full Time, Permanent

Oxfordshire with Hybrid Working

2 days per week in the office

Duties will include:

• Be the main point of contact for the day-to-day development and execution of assigned projects
• Manage the day-to-day development and execution of individual giving campaigns to generate repeat gifts and grow income
• Working closely with external agencies and freelancers to best effect
• Development of supporter data and preferences and permissions, and data profiling optimisation
• Overseeing the scheduling and coordination work in relation to appeals, events and fundraising activities
• Research and recommend ways of improving donor / supporter acquisition & retention.
• Provide day-to-day management, direction and support to one line report

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience of working in an Individual Giving role with responsibility for full campaign life cycles
• Knowledge and experience of the principles of direct marketing, database and donor acquisition, retention / development
• Knowledge of strategies, approaches and techniques used specifically to fundraise from individual giving, using a variety of channels from digital to mail
• Experience in managing regular giving, donor acquisition and retention campaigns
• Experience of monitoring and analysing direct marketing campaigns
• Experience of successfully identifying new income streams and providing strategic direction for further development
• Ability to or experience of developing and implementing an individual giving strategy.
• Experience of line management or providing day-to-day management, support and development to line reports.
