Theatre Practitioner – ODP – Anaesthetics & Recovery (RGN / ODP)

Oxford Hospital | Nursing | Permanent | Full time | Pay up to £39,000 per annum depending on experience.

As a Theatre Practitioner (Operational Delivery Practitioner) in Anaesthesia & Recovery, you will work in a modern operating theatre environment supporting patients through the anaesthetic and recovery phases of surgery at Oxford Hospital.

• Work with leading consultants and like‑minded professionals.
• Manage a varied caseload using state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff.
• Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence‑based.
• Interact well with colleagues on the ward, ensuring continuity in patient care.
• Deliver high‑quality care to patients in the anaesthetic and recovery phases of surgery.
• Collaborate with anaesthetists and surgical teams to prepare and monitor patients pre‑, during and post‑surgery.
• Take advantage of ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development.

You are registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC) and possess the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including post‑registration experience. You are a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
