Children's Staff Nurse - Emergency Department

We are looking for an experienced Children’s Nurse who has either previously worked within an emergency care setting or has strong ward-based experience and is looking to develop their skills within this dynamic and rewarding environment.
We are seeking motivated and compassionate staff to join our friendly and supportive department. While this is a fast-paced clinical area, we offer excellent learning and development opportunities, along with the support needed to gain new skills and progress your career.
There is also the opportunity for this role to work across both the John Radcliffe Hospital and Horton General Hospital sites, providing a varied and enriching experience.

- Independently assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care for a defined caseload of patients
- Assume responsibility for individual clinical areas within the unit
- Maintain and continually develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relevant to individual clinical area
- Contribute to the development of others through supervision, mentoring and teaching
- Contribute toward the continuing development of professional nursing practice in the Emergency Department
- To follow trust guidance in regards to safe guarding
