This is a theatre post in the West Wing anaesthetics department at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, covering children and adults and open to newly qualified and experienced practitioners. The work is perioperative care within a theatre team, with the Trust's education team supporting career development. Preceptorship and supernumerary status while competencies are gained set it apart, alongside an in-house perioperative course and a PG Cert/Dip in advanced perioperative care.
Interviews are in person only, with no virtual option.
Registration & licences
- NMC registration as a nurse, or HCPC registration as an ODP
- Preceptorship and supernumerary status while achieving competencies
- In-house perioperative course
- Support with revalidation
- Leadership and career development
- Shared governance to influence and deliver change
- CPD including PG Cert/Dip Advanced Perioperative Care, accredited by the University of Northampton
