A fantastic opportunity is available for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join an established 3.5-vet practice in West Oxfordshire
.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a genuinely supportive team where they can enjoy clinical autonomy, develop their interests and build lasting relationships with clients and their pets

• Up to £50,000 salary
• 40 hours across just 4 days
• Only 1 in 6 weekends
• £1,500 CPD allowance + 3 days' paid CPD leave

• Support from an experienced Partner with a keen interest in orthopaedics

The practice has a loyal and well-established client base and offers a varied caseload across consultations and surgery. There is plenty of scope for the successful Veterinary Surgeon to develop their own clinical interests
, whether that is surgery, medicine or a particular area they are passionate about.

The friendly team places a strong emphasis on collaboration, support and high standards of patient care. The practice is also well equipped with ultrasound, ECG, dental facilities, an in-house laboratory and laparoscopic equipment
, giving the team the tools to provide excellent first-opinion care.

The weekend commitment is 1 in 6 weekends
, based at the practice's sister 24-hour hospital, helping to provide a manageable and sustainable rota.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS with small animal practice experience and a passion for delivering outstanding patient and client care.

They will be a team player who enjoys working collaboratively while also appreciating the opportunity to work with clinical independence and autonomy
. Veterinary Surgeons with an interest in surgery, medicine or orthopaedics are particularly encouraged to apply.
