Research Assistant (Applied Economics: Ageing, Labour and Health)
Part-time Research Assistant (Applied Economics: Ageing, Labour and Health)
We are seeking a Research Assistant to support a project evaluating the wider economic benefits of the Ageing Well agenda, including its potential to increase labour market participation among older adults, reduce preventable health and social care costs, and generate broader economic gains through increased productivity, consumption, and local multiplier effects. The project combines individual-level (micro) data analysis with macro-level modelling to assess economic and fiscal impacts.
A key component of the work is to translate micro-level behavioural changes into aggregate outcomes, including GDP, public finances, and broader economic effects such as local multiplier and spillover effects.
