Senior Research Fellow

Department: Department of Education, 15 Norham Gardens, Oxford.

Contract: Fixed term contract – open to internal applicants only.

Role Overview

The post holder will lead a programme of research to support improvements to the use of AI in education, raise funds and manage specialist grant‑funded projects, develop and lead a hub or other entities within the department, provide academic supervision for research students, and contribute to lectures and class teaching.

Raise funds and manage grant‑funded projects.
Develop and lead a hub or related entities.
Supervise research students academically.
Contribute to teaching through lectures and classes.

Qualifications

Hold a PhD/DPhil with significant post‑qualification experience or proven industry experience in AI.
Possess specialist knowledge to develop research projects and methodologies.
Established reputation and publication record in AI.
Experience building and maintaining networks with industry leaders.
